The message that I obtain from the object is that rolling joints and smoking are harmless things to do. The tree signifies that joints come from nature and therefore, smoking should not be thought of as being bad for people. I think the intended audience might be people who are against legalizing marijuana and it can also appeal to those who roll joints and smoke to support their point of view. This object makes me think of nature itself because of the miniature tree. The color green also comes to mind when looking at this object, and as we all know, it is actually beneficial to the environment to “go green.” Therefore, I believe the object is persuasive and I think the message is clear.
